One more week to go!  If there are any library books that have not been handed in, they are due now.  Please send an extra bag Thursday for desk cleaning.  Thank you.

"Sports Day will take place next Thursday, June 25th! Students will participate at the following times:

• Morning Kindergarten, Grade 3, and Grade 4: 9:00–10:30 a.m.
• Afternoon Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2: 1:00–2:15 p.m.

Students are encouraged to show their Canadian spirit by wearing Team Canada colours! We look forward to a fun day filled with activity, teamwork, and school spirit."

Classroom Update

Math -  Review Week - students completed a logic puzzle, perimeter questions, division questions etc.

Language Arts - We continued working on a "literacy choice board".  There are 12 different literacy activities that students can choose from.

Science - Our focus this week continued to be on creatively building hybrid animals/plants.  Students were focused on what adaptations they were most interested in.  We also managed to get outside one afternoon to play predator/prey.

Social Studies -   We continued building our own community.  We had to make choices about what kinds of services were most important and how we wanted the community to be designed.
