Classroom Update
Math - In math this week, we continued to work on multiplication and division. We were able to find some winter themed work where we could sharpen our skills.
Home Practise: Students can work on multiplication facts to increase speed and accuracy. They are encouraged to quickly review some that they already know and spend more time with more difficult facts.
Language Arts - Our focus this week was on finishing our research in science and social studies using research from books, printed booklets and sources on the computer. Students completed their Alberta regions pamphlet and their dinosaur cards.
Science - In our Earth Systems unit this week, we explored what is below the crust of Earth. We talked about the mantle, outer core and inner core. We finished our dinosaur cards and also our dinosaur posters.
